Antoine Del Serra joins GLP as an Operating Partner in Residence - Consumer Products & Services


Global Leisure Partners is pleased to announce that Antoine Del Serra has joined the firm as an Operating Partner responsible for the development of the Consumer Products & Services franchise, including Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Household and Personal Care (HPC), Food & Beverages. He joins from HSBC where he was a Senior Director in the Global Consumer Group. During a career spanning over more than a decade at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Deutsche Bank and HSBC, Antoine built up extensive experience and knowledge, covering the areas of Food & Beverages and Household & Personal Care in both Western and Emerging markets. Antoine brings a wealth of international experience with most recent completed assignments including advising Kraft on its disposal of E. Wedel; advising Henkel on its disposal of a 51% stake in Henkel India to Jyothy Laboratories; advising BC Partners on its acquisition of the pan-European household products company, Spotless; assisting in the financing of the acquisition of Parmalat by Lactalis; advising Sodiaal on the disposal of Yoplait; advising Bidvest on its acquisition of Nowaco and Farutex; advising Danisco on its disposal of its sugar business; advising Lebedyansky on the acquisition of the company by PepsiCo; advising Nordic Capital on its acquisition of Leaf alongside CVC Capital Partners and advising BC Partners on its disposal of Galbani.

A French national, Antoine is also fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. He graduated from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Science Po Paris) and hold an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (USA).
