McLaren Group Announces the Pricing of $620 million Aggregate Principal Amount of 7.50% Senior Secured Notes due 2026
McLaren Group Limited (“MGL”) announced that its subsidiary, McLaren Finance plc (the "Issuer"), successfully priced $620 million aggregate principal amount of 7.50% senior secured notes due 2026 (the "Notes") at par. The offering of the Notes is expected to close on or around August 2, 2021. The proceeds from the offering of the Notes, together with the net proceeds contributed to McLaren Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries, including the Issuer, from the separately announced £550 million equity investment, will be used to redeem in full the Issuer's outstanding existing senior secured notes, repay the existing revolving credit facility, add cash to the balance sheet and pay fees, premiums and expenses incurred in connection with the foregoing transactions, including the offering of the Notes.
McLaren Group was supported in this transaction by Goldman Sachs International and HSBC as joint global coordinators and joint book runners and Global Leisure Partners as financial advisor.
